Hillyard Hi-Jinx
Parade & Festival
Fun and Full-Blown Hi-Jinx
Saturday, Aug 1, 2026
For more than a century, the Hi-Jinx Parade has brought a little chaos, a lot of character, and plenty of hometown pride to Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood.
Rolling back into Market Street the first Saturday of August 2026, this beloved tradition transforms Hillyard into a full-on celebration packed with vintage cars, wild costumes, decorated floats, bikes, music, and the kind of community spirit you can only find in the Market Street Corridor.

This is Hillyard’s party, and it only happens because the community shows up, gets creative, and makes a little magic together on Market Street.
As Hi-Jinx celebrates its 115th anniversary in 2026, the Hillyard Creative District is honored and excited to continue this iconic community tradition and carry its legacy forward with the same scrappy, creative, neighborhood energy that has defined it for generations.
Whether you want to help plan the festivities, build a parade float, march in the parade, become a street vendor, sponsor the event, or simply join the fun, Hi-Jinx is for everyone.
