Hosted at On Track Academy which has partnered with Vitalant to host a community Blood Drive.

This October, Hillyard transforms into a spooky, creative playground for our Haunt the Yard Third Thursday! Expect fall vibes, spooky-themed art, pop-up makers, live music, and a business decorating contest. Some businesses may even go above and beyond with haunted mazes and immersive experiences. We’re also exploring workshops, trivia, and a paranormal investigation to make the night unforgettable.

The evening begins in the park with opening remarks and a community gathering to mark this milestone. From there, the celebration continues in true Third Thursdays style with live music, pop-up art galleries, interactive activities, and local businesses hosting incredible creative talent.

This month, we’re welcoming back some of the amazing artists and musicians who’ve helped shape our journey along with plenty of fresh creativity to discover. It’s the perfect night to celebrate the roots of our community and the vibrant future ahead.

Last year Hillyard Built's 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament profited $9,000 at to assist in-need Hillyard youth participate in enriching programs. This year our goal is $15,000!

Every Third Thursday, Hillyard comes alive with color, sound, and creative energy. Local artists, makers, and musicians fill the district with pop-up galleries, painted windows, live performances, and more. This archive celebrates the incredible talent that has made each Art Walk unforgettable.

A cherished tradition in Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood, celebrating over a century of community spirit. Held annually on the first Saturday of August, the parade features a vibrant procession of floats, vintage cars, bicycles, and local performers marching down Market Street.

Join us Monday, July 28 at 3:30 PM at the Hillyard Library (4005 N Cook St, Spokane, WA 99207)! We’ll give a quick update on current projects, then open the floor for fun, creative brainstorming. All are welcome — come share your ideas and help shape what’s next for the district!

Join the neighbors for a street full of "garage sale items". Each vendor will buy a 10x10 vendor spot for $25. They will sell their own personal items (no animals, no weapons, no alcohol or illegal items) in our 2025 Flea Market. The goal is to be the biggest "FLEA MARKET" event around.
