Officially Spokane’s First
Washington-State Designated Creative District

September 18 | 4-8PM | Along the Historic Market Street Corridor

This summer the Historic Hillyard Corridor was transformed into a hub for creativity. Pop-up galleries along Market Street, live musicians at the park, and more activities started piling in as excitement grew. (See the archives!)

In August, Hillyard received the state designation as Spokane's inaugural Creative District.

We are using our Third Thursday platform to invite all community members, businesses, and everyone in the region to come experience Hillyard and learn what this designation means for the neighborhood, its residents, and Spokane as a whole.

Featured Performances & Collab Exhibits

RCA is an up and coming PNW artist blending pop/soul/funk with live looping (one-man-band vibes). Catch him at Heritage Museum Park.

Foray 4 the Arts is bringing a great lineup of performers to the Yard Bird from 6–8 PM. Get there early and order some delicious gourmet dogs and drinks to take to the patio!

Marmot Art Space takeover at The Historic Laundry Building featuring the iconic Alfredo Arreguín (yes, that Arreguín). Pattern-rich, museum-collected, absolutely stunning IRL.

Finally, Hill House Event Center is opening their doors for this round (You’ve gotta see inside if you haven’t!) and 33Artists Market helped connect fabulous artists to host there. Thanks Gwyn!!
