A cherished tradition in Spokane’s Hillyard neighborhood, celebrating over a century of community spirit. Held annually on the first Saturday of August, the Hi-Jinx Parade (Celebrating its 114th year) features a vibrant procession of floats, vintage cars, bicycles, and local performers marching down Market Street.

This festive event is a highlight of the Hillyard Festival, a celebration that in past years included live music, food vendors, games, a beer garden, and car show. The festival fosters a strong sense of community and honors Hillyard's rich railroad heritage .
