Spokane PDA Hillyard Office

The Spokane PDA Hillyard Office is the headquarters of the Northeast Public Development Authority (NEPDA) Established by the City of Spokane and Spokane County, the NEPDA is a public corporation dedicated to revitalizing the Hillyard neighborhood and surrounding areas through economic development initiatives. ​

The NEPDA's mission is to facilitate redevelopment and construction of public benefit projects that stimulate economic activity and job growth within its jurisdiction, known as "The YARD." This includes investments in infrastructure, housing, and commercial spaces, as well as streamlining regulatory processes to attract and support businesses. ​(Learn More)

Recent projects spearheaded by the NEPDA include a planned mixed-use development at 3011 E. Wellesley Ave., featuring 40 units of workforce housing, a daycare facility, and office space. Additionally, the NEPDA is overseeing significant infrastructure improvements, such as the $4.5 million reconstruction of a half-mile stretch of East Wellesley Avenue, aimed at enhancing transportation and utility services in the area. ​(Learn More)
